The short version
We designed Hard Again so we know as little about you as possible. Your health data never leaves your phone. We don't run analytics trackers, we don't sell data, and payments are handled entirely by Gumroad. Given the nature of this product, your privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation.
01Who we are
Hard Again ("we", "us") publishes the Hard Again Protocol (PDF) and its companion tracking application. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@hardagain.co.
02What we collect — and what we don't
Through this website: nothing personally identifiable. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may process standard technical server logs (IP address, browser type) to deliver the site, per their own privacy policy.
Through your purchase: payments are processed entirely by Gumroad. Gumroad handles your payment details and email address under Gumroad's privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to deliver your purchase (your email address) and never see your payment details.
Through the tracking app: nothing. This is the important part:
- All scores, check-ins, and progress data are stored locally on your device (browser localStorage).
- No account is created. No login exists.
- No health data is ever transmitted to us or to any third party.
- Deleting the app (or clearing your browser data) permanently erases your data. We could not recover it even if you asked — we never had it.
03Emails
If you email us, we use your address solely to reply. If you purchased via Gumroad, you may receive transactional emails (receipt, product updates) through Gumroad. You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time via the link in each message.
04Cookies
This website does not set marketing or analytics cookies. The tracking app uses local browser storage exclusively to save your own progress data on your own device, as described above.
05Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold almost none, exercising them is simple: email hello@hardagain.co and we will delete any correspondence and purchase-related information we hold, and point you to Gumroad for the data they control.
06Children
This product is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
07Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted clearly.
